RawGirlMoney

Lillian-Yvonne Bertram's Raw Girl Money, originally published in Poetry Magazine in 2020, deals with themes of girlhood, identity, and loss.

I conducted sound design for a media adaptation of this poem. In it, I used samples of rain, guitars with infinite sustain, and reversed samples of cymbals to create a sound bed that elevates Lillian's voice and highlights the emotional contours of the performance.
